Hi,

Can anyone help with above subject.

We are developing an application using the PL*SQL cartridge and per package authentication. A custom designed security function has been developed that allows us to tell if a user can log on, if their password is due to expire, if max grace logons has been reached etc, and this function is being called from the authorize function in each package.

Currently I can only return a true or false from the function authorize. If I force the logon to fail, (ie return false from authorize) OWAS gives a naff message to the user and I can't tell them why their logon has failed. Does anyone know a way of using the inbuilt security (owa.sec) but giving useful messages back to the user. Or at least how to change the message in the default authorization has failed web page.

Thanks in advance
Robert.
