The Program in Human Genetics (PHG) at Vanderbilt University has a database programmer position available in our computing core. The successful applicant will have approximately two years of experience developing applications with PowerBuilder. The computing core supports scientific efforts of the PHG by developing applications designed to aid the other cores and researchers in gathering, warehousing, and analyzing data. The PHG occupies over 5000sf of newly appointed research space, including both molecular and statistical laboratories, and is part of a major new initiative at Vanderbilt University to expand genetic research.
