Linux Problem

I have tried to install Oracle 8.0.5 in a Linux box, which has RedHat 5.2, glibc-2.0.7-29. During the installation, I got error message:

An operating system error occurred while trying to spawn '/o00/app/oracle/product/Linux-8.0.5/bin/otrccref' while redirecting output to
' 1 ^^ ' (File exists). ...

Any idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
