Stored procedures + OLE DB

Hi All

I'm using Oracle 7.something with the latest Microsoft OLEDB provider for Oracle - and for some reason I cannot get stored procedures to work from an ATL application. When the call is executed I just get a DB_E_ERRORSOCCURRED type thing - which according to the help could be due to the parameters. But what could be more simple? One input parameter and one output parameter - both are CHAR strings (in database terminology)

I wouldn't mind but the very same code will happily connect to SQL Server and run stored procedures all day long - from where I'm standing the grass is looking very green on the "other side".....

Hope someone can help me out here!
