Run the SQL*Net (or NET 8) Easy configuration program on the client to specify a TNSNAMES entry for the remote RDBMS (or even a LOCAL RDBMS for that matter). You then use the TNS alias to connect with. Received on Mon Jun 21 1999 - 10:01:42 CDT
