Were there any agents installed (aka Intelligent Agent)? These should be on
the server side!

What error? Did you modify your (local!) tnsnames.ora file?

Nope, but Iīm planning on doing the same. As you can īdiscoverīnodes by hand,
which relies on the entries in your tnsnames.ora file, I cannot see any problem,
other than the standard networking issues. So, attack by resolving the standard issues (can you ping? can you tnsping? Can
you connect, using the uid/passwd/connect string as in OEM in SQL*Plus? Once you have all that going, OEM should work as well (I think).
