Install GUI problem

...I'm trying to install some extra options into Oracle8.1.5 on AIX 4.2,
but some buffoon ejected the CD in the middle of it....and now when I click on the 'Next' button to install new options, I get the following Dialog box.

There was a problem the staging area. Please make sure the 'Source' and 'Destination' specified are valid.
---

...the Source and destination *are* indeed valid...and *did* work B4.
Is there a lock file or something that has been created? (rebooting & remounting the CD haven't helped either)
