Having recently graduated, I knew nothing about Oracle, and virtually nothing about databases outside of what I learned at work not connected with classes. I wouldn't assume most grads know Oracle or any form of database. It probably depends greatly on the university. I don't think there's a whole lot of recent grad competition unless they've had other experience outside of school.
