JInitiator questions....

Hello,

I have been using JInitiator to access Web Forms for a few months but have just discovered something that I had not seen before and need some feedback. Is JInitiator client-side only, or does it have pieces which must reside on the server as well? I was under the impression that it was client-side only, but after setting up a Unix box w/Developer Server 2.1 components and OWAS 3.0.2, I'm not so sure. When I try to access Web Forms on the Unix box from a browser on my Win95 desktop, I get those annoying 'Warning: applet window' messages on each and every window (among other GUI quirks) even though I have JInitiator installed on my desktop. When I hit our old NT workstation running the same software, the quirks are gone (at least most of them). The only difference that I can think of is that JInitiator is installed on the NT and not on the Unix box. Or is JInitiator somehow forever tied to the server machine from which it was originally downloaded? Can anyone help out here? Thanks in advance.

Cary
