SQL*NET 8.0.4 vs HPUX 10.20 TNS-12537

During the last week-end, we patch OS 10.20 for many reason such like Y2K and others...

We experiencing major problem on a production environment with SQL*NET 8.0.4. When Windows95 client invoke SQL*PLUS to connect db 8.0.4, they got TNS-12537.

We try to correct the problem by using another version of listener (7.3.2 and 8.0.5) but the client continue with 12537.

Does anybody knows if patch (or workaround) exists on Oracle or HP to correct the situation. Actually, HP and Oracle play a "magnific" ping-pong game!
