Does Oracle have a rowcount variable that can be set (like Sql Server) so that you can limit the total number of rows returned by a query. Have a v.large table that users can build their own queries against via application... but if they screw it up then don't want 10's of 1000's of rows returned...

any help greatly appreciated..
