using globals when calling a report

Hi,



I have a form in which I created a global variable. I want to use this
global when I call a report,


so that the global is used in the report to restrict the number of rows. I
know how to do this using parameters, but I can' t find out how to do with
globals.


Any suggestion will be appreciated,
