Strange problem with MS ODBC 3.5 (ODBCSDK)

Hello there,

I am having a strange problem in MS Acces 97 with my ODBC drivers when I'm making a connection to my Oracle 7.3 database: I make a link using a system-dsn to the Oracle table that appears to work allright. In most cases it does, I can look into the data in the oracle-table and I know the headers and amount of records are right. Some tables however (ofcourse some of the most important) show the headers, the right amount of records, but all the field say '#Deleted'. Are these field deleted or empty? No because when I import the table completely all the data is shown.

Installed utilities are Sql-net v2.3 (2.2 has the same problem), correctly configured with Easycfg, running TCP/IP only. The workstation is running Windows98, the Oracle 7.3 server NT4 with SP3.

Since the tables that cause the problems are continually updated, the import-possibility is not really an option. What I want to know is whether this is bug, just bad luck, maybe a driver problem, something with the ODBC properties or should I change to the native Oracle ODBC, anything?

Anybody have clues?
