On my WinNT: yes. However, my code refused to connect to one out of six 8.0.4 databases on another WinNT machine. No idea why; the Net8 aliases seemed OK for all six...

A long time ago we did some network measurements, and the Oracle ODBC drivers were much faster and needed far less bandwith than the MS drivers, especially during the first stages of a setting up a connection. Could have changed by now, though.
