It's true that the DBA Certification Exam Guide has quite a lot of errors - it makes me wonder if it was proofread at all. The subheadings frequently don't match their descriptions in introductory paragraphs, I have seen entire paragraphs repeated on facing pages, and I've noticed an occasional conflict of information from one paragraph to the next.

In spite of that, I'm finding that the book is a good introduction to Oracle (and database administration in general) and provides a good education on the topics covered in the tests.

I haven't noticed the same problems with the Exam Cram books. I have read one completely and I'm about a third of the way through the second one. On rare occasions, the information provided in the Exam Cram books conflicts with the information provided in the Certification Exam Guide, but it hasn't been a problem on the tests (so far).

I don't know of any source that lists the errors for any of the books, but there might be one.
