I have had problems with using an upgarded config.

We were running an Oracle7 server, and SQL*Net V2 clients with a V7 ODBC driver.

We updated the server to Oracle 8.05 and Net8, and the clients to Net8 and the O8 ODBC driver.

Shortly after, very wierd problems.

We had to downgrade the clients back to V7 SQL*Net V2 and V7 ODBC to work.
