Hi Neil

You might want to try Openlink Virtuoso. This will allow you to connect to both your Oracle and Informix databases via ODBC, UDBC, OLE/DB etc. When you have linked both tables, you could then transfer from one to the other.

Just an idea as ODBC might be your best bet here if you can't get it working with Oracle.
