Selecting rows from one table to another (using SQL)?

How can I select rows from one table to another with similar (but not equal) structure, using SQL for Oracle 7.3?
Under MS-SQL (arghh...) I used to use SELECT-INTO but that doesn't seems to be supported on Oracle 7.3

Thnaks in advance.
