how can i get the alphanumeric value of an excel cell with forms

Hi!
i need some help. I'm currently building an application under forms developper2000.
i succes to launch excel and open a file from forms. but i can read only numeric value of cells. but, I can not get an alphanumeric one...The best, i succes to do, is to get the first character of the cell.

please help me.
