Finding unused indexes

Does anyone know of a way to find indexes that are never/rarely used in an Oracle database? Our company's DBA is reluctant to add any more indexes to our production database. I've just developed new features in our application that require additional indexes for performance. I figure maybe I can make a better argument for adding indexes if I can point out others that can be dropped. Does Oracle keep stats on index usage?
