Our client is looking for a Database Adminstrator, working in their Interactive Development Team to deliver software for the Internet and fast expanding range of leading edge interactive and digital television products and pilots. You will be responsible for the department's development and live databases.

The job is based in London and essential skills include:

In depth experience with Oracle 8 (7 is acceptable) In depth experience with Oracle development tools, including forms In depth experience in UNIX, preferably Solaris and Linux Experience with Windows NT
Experience of systems design and maintenance in a commercial environment Familiarity with HTML and Internet Development Tools Familiarity with Source Control operations

Also desirable are skills such as C, C++, Perl, assembler or equivalent language, as well as familiarity with e-commerce issues, TV broadcast equipment, set top boxes, etc.
