I haven't worked with 8.0.4 on Netware but my current client is running 7.3.4 on Netware. In general you just won't get the kind of support from Oracle that you'd get if you were running against NT or UNIX. Their tech support people haven't had as much exposure to Netware as they have to the other operating systems. This might be a consideration for you.
