Partitioning question.

I would like to split up a 20 gig table into approx 65 partitions. Is
there any disadvantage to having this many partitions? Has anybody come
across any problems with partitions - known bugs etc? If you could point
me to some un-biased  literature on the subject I would appreciate it.
