one thing i have always wondered--is it possible to set the directory the afiedt.buf gets dropped in? i often find myself running sqlplus from multiple directories (where, admittedly, i shouldn't be running it) while testing code, and later have to go through all of those directories cleaning up stray buffer files. isn't there some variable i could set in the environment before starting sqlplus to tell it where to drop the buffer file?

	tia for any advice,
	sweth.
