Install JInitiator on LAN

Has anyone installed Oracle JInitiator v1.1.5.21.1 on a LAN application server and registered as a plug-in to Netscape Communicator 4.04?

I have Oracle JInitiator installed on the LAN and registered to Netscape Communicator 4.04. But, when trying to open an Oracle Forms application, it gives an error saying: "JDK virtual machine not installed or PATH not found". This error goes away and Oracle Forms work ok on web after installing JInitiator locally on a workstation. But, during installation of JInitiator on a workstation, it gives an error when trying to write "NPJinit.dll" to the LAN drive. The LAN drive has a read-only access to all users except for admin because it contains all application software such as, Netscape, MS-Office and other such apps. Although the installation process displays an error, but still continues to successfully finish the remaining installation.

It seems that JInitiator has a client AS WELL AS server installation??

As per Oracle tech support, we should be using Netscape Navigator 4.08 and Netscape Communicator 4.04 is not supported. Does anyone know the difference between Navigator and Communicator?

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thanks,
WebDev
