open ended question --

Don't you guys laugh at this one, but here goes:

We've got both Oracle 8 and SQL Server (MS) 7.0. We need to make a decision on which one to use for a small, multiuser app (say < 50 clients).

Does SqlS add any programming benefits to VB than Oracle? I am guessing we'll use ADO/OLE-DB via VB. Has MS added any sort of functionality into SS 7.0 that would make it "easier" to program, interface, or manipulate the DB?

I'd just as soon use Oracle, from what I've seen the pricing is about the same (<-- can someone verify this) for a 50 user lic.

Question: Just starting the VB app, maybe 20-30 tables, no large data, would like to store .jpg's in the DB, and plan on using Crystal Reports (another issue). So, is Oracle or S.S. the way to go?
