Hi,

When users connect to the Oracle Database Server through Windows 3.1, they are getting the following error messages:

ORA-12500 TNS: listener failed to start a dedicated server process
ORA-01203 TNS, Unable to Connect to Destination
ORA-12223 TNS: Internal limit restriction exceeded

We are also receiving similiar error messages when trying to print, logging on to TNVT and in our SQLNET.log file.

The number of processes in the init.ora have been increased. There is appoximately 80 concurrent users logged on when this error message occurs. Oracle 7.3 is installed on a Unix server version 5.

We need to have approximately 300 concurrent users processes. Any suggestions to correct this problem?

Thanks,
Kerri
