Re: Des./2000 WebServer Gen. Vs Oracle Web Application Server

Basically WSG generates PL/SQL packaged procedures, that return HTML formatted strings. So, this is a completely different concept than Dev2K Server (Which is Java)
Anything that works with HTML, should possibly be generated from Des2K. That's probably the great drawback, too - there's only little use of JavaScript, no Java (yet, I think it should be coming)

Is OWAS a development tool by Oracle? What does it produce (Java, PL/SQL,...)
