Lost Database Links

Hello,

We have a database link defined that points from our production database to our test database. The link shows up when I query DBA_DB_LINKS. It also shows up in DeskTop DBA......but when I try and use it, it says it does not exist. When I try and drop it, it says it does not exist.

It seems like it is in the dictionaries, but not really there. How can I fix this?
