Oracle Services Problems!

I am having a problem with my oracle services it seem that the orcl services
stop after awhile then noboby can connect to it and you can't connect to the
Oracle Manager.  I called tech support and they said that some times that NT
screws up the files so I had to rebuild the files, but the problem still
seems to be there.  It is a NT box with Oracle 8 on it. The problem didn't
start until we installed oracle 8.
