Simon,

I take it you wish to use SQL*Net over TCP/IP at home ? In that case installed the 'MS Loopback Adapter' from within Control_Panel->Network->Adapter, this will provide a software nic. Then install TCP/IP over the 'MS Loopback Adapter'.

I have this setup at home and it works fine (if anything, its a bit slower than my nic at work ;) which is probably a good thing.)
