Dear all,

The X/Open DTP (Distributed Transaction Processing) standard defines the protocols to make a DB transaction capable. Can anyone explain me  how these protocols are implemented in an Oracle DB system? Are there any general rules which are usually followed when making a DB t ransaction capable?
