Oracle Internal Error - Any Ideas on What to Do?

I've installed Oracle 8.0.5.0.0 on a Sun SPARCstation 20 (Solaris 2.5). Everything installs ok, but when I try to startup my init.ora file I get the following error message:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [SKGMBADAREA], [12], [1], [1048576], [0], [], [], []

I think either I didn't set some OS value(s) I needed to set or this is an error with the 8.0.5.0.0 release. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

Thanks. Received on Wed Mar 03 1999 - 18:15:06 CST
