Help!

I have been trying to set up Oracle Security Server. I have set up the repository and created some identities with database authorizations but I'm kind of stuck as to what I am meant to do now! I'd appreciate any help people could provide! I have created an identity of the form C=GB, L=Edinburgh, CN=commonname

If I type in eg. osslogin 'C=GB,L=Edinburgh,CN=commonname' I get the message "Failed to create wallet"
If I type in eg. osslogin 'C=GB, L=Edinburgh, CN=commonname' (ie. with spaces) I get the message "Access denied"

(1) What am I doing wrong here
(2) More fundamentally, what am I doing?!!! Once I have created a wallet
for the user how do I actually use that to connect to a database. Do I have to create a wallet for the database? If so, how? And how do I actually use this wallet to instigate communication?

Any help would be very gratefully received!

Thanks,
