Single view on multiple tables?

Good day,

I'm not sure if I have seen this done or not, but:

I have several tables that hold different data with a similar key. Basically, I have a parts orders table with key values in the 60k range and a work orders table with key values in the 80k range, etc. I would like to create a view that displays the key value and another field that is common to all the tables. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any answers.
