Cliff,

Zebra recently bought over Eltron printers so their range goes from small volume, small footprint thermal printers up to the big stuff. Prices range from $700 to the GDP of an emerging economy ;-)

As to producing barcodes, any Windows reporting tool (e.g. Oracle Reports, Crystal Reports) will allow this. All you need are the Barcode TrueType fonts for Windows. Prices in 1997 were (from memory) $120
