A few pointers for you...

Firstly, do you mean loading images FROM the file system INTO Oracle or FROM Oracle OUT to the file system? I couldn't really tell from your question.

Secondly, you might be better off asking in the comp.lang.perl.* newsgroups.

Thirdly, I was under the impression that most people were now using the DBI and DBD-Oracle modules instead of Oraperl. I have used these myself and it really is very easy to transfer data to and from Oracle using them.
