In the file
/orawin/network/admin/tnsnames.ora

there is a listing of the SQLNET connection you made with Easy Net manager.

IT looks like:

SID.WORLD =
   (HOST=Yada

      (SID= DADA
     .....

Anyway, you want to type in the alias in the first line, namely "SID.WORLD". Received on Sun Feb 07 1999 - 10:02:22 CST
