Oracle Dev2000 Server FRM-10256 error

I am using Dev2000 Forms50 (Web Release 2.1), and when I launch an HTML to run a menu/form, after a signon, I obtain an error FRM-10256. I am equipped with the database role as confirmed by "select * from session_roles". What is the cause of this problem? I was recommended by Oracle MetaLink to "set the preference MNUSAS to Y". What is this and how do I go about setting it?
