...but still I did not find it in the HTML documentation. I'm rather new to Oracle and wonder if one can call EXEs within a trigger function. I'm running Oracle 7.3.3 on NT4.0 and would like to launch an app (written in MSVB5) if something special happens in the trigger. The app should then call the API of an other party's product and do some file copies in the file system.

Any hint how I can find infos about?
