Hi

How can I connect to Personal Oracle 8.x on local machine? With PO 7.x you had to use "2:" as the SQL*Connect string. It does not seem to work with PO 8.x. The only way I know is to add to your tnsnames.ora entry that points to the ORCL on your local machine. Is there an equivalent of the old "2:" for Personal Oracle 8.x?

Thanks

Witold
