I'm running oracle 7.2.2 database on irix platform, and have some
terminal and some client/server applications. Some of them are developed
with oracle power objects, and they are communicating with server by
using oraserv (tcp protocol). Now, I had to migrate database to another
machine, and I'm having a problem with theese applications, because
the connection is embeeded in the code of the applications.Is there an
easy way to solve this problem, without changing code and deploying
applications on every client machine?
