HI!, Iīm from argentina and my english is not good... I have a problem with a datafile. I was trying to delete it when the database was open in archive log mode. The datafile is in status RECOVER. The procedure that i used was: open the storage manager, and select the datafile, and click in the red cross.. then i made one more datafile in the same tablespace but i canīt use it because Oracle is trying to insert in the datafile in recover. I need to remove this datafile from my tablespace. The datafile was empty.. Im running oracle 7.3.4.1 on HP-UX 11...

Thanks in advance... and sorry for my english ... my email is mquesada_at_renault.com.ar
