SQLLoader: skip trailing fields in record?

Is there a practical way to tell SQLLoader to skip one or more trailing fields in a delimited input record? I can skip fields -within- the record using relative positioning, e.g., POSITION(*+3), but what about skipping fields at the -end- of the input record? Received on Sat Jan 23 1999 - 09:28:56 CST
