ORA-03113

I have a 16 bit application running on Win 95, using Oracle ODBC drivers to hook into an Oracle 8 database. The application consists of a number of exe's and a shared dll that is used for io. If I have to exe's open and each has a connection to the database when one is closed, the other is closed too. When the application uses this connection I get the ORA-03113.

I assume this is the reason for the problem but I have no idea how to stop it.

Any help would be great.
