PO8 Multi user?

Hello all,

We're busily developing a new system using Workgroup server 7.3.4 with Delphi 3 as the front end (we'll get round to O8 and D4 when every one else has ironed out the wrinkles <g>).

This is fine for our larger clients, but Oracle workgroup server is a bit on the heavy / expensive side for some of our smaller clients.

We want to keep Delphi as the front end, and rather than use something like Paradox as the 'lite' (horrible word) version of our system, we were looking towards Personal Oracle. This is mainly because the ANSI SQL available via 'desktop' databases like Paradox and Access is very limiting!!

The question is .. can you connect multiple users to PO8?

If so :-
* how many users

• what are the licensing issues
• what are the connection methods from Delphi's BDE

Any specific or general comments about PO8 and multiple users welcome!
