How to export parts of a oracle table

I have to export a Oracle table but not the complete table. The table to export contains confidential datam which shouldn't be exported. I want to export these tables using the export format so I can use the import facility later on to read the data.

Does anyone has an idea how to do this??

The only possibility I see is to make a copy of the original table, remove the confidential data, export this copy and cleanup this copy afterwards.
I do not like this solution, because it is slow and requires a lot of space (in case of big tables).

Has anyone a better idea???

Thnaks
