C & Oracle Precompiler (v2.2) question

Hi:

Does anyone know of any sites or other sources of simple sample C code w/ embedded SQL for use with the precompiler? I did some C programming 10+ years ago (never was an expert or anything), and now I have a need to crank out a few utilities, and it looks like C and the precompiler are the way to go.

Also, which C compilers (on Win32) work best with the output of the precompiler? MS VC or Borland? Does Oracle offer a C-compiler? Others? Has anyone used the free LCC-WIN32 C-compiler with output from the Oracle precompiler?

Any advice tremendously appreciated. Please email as well as posting (if possible).

Thanks and regards,
