You might post to the PeopleSoft support web site. It is used by PeopleSoft customers to exchange information among themselves. I don't remember the address, offhand, but as a customer, you should have been given a few accounts to the protected site.

Though I have not done this particular upgrade, I would doubt that it could be done. As you know, there are dozens of scripts/programs used to upgrade the system. They each depend on the system being in a certain configuration and would probably break if something was out of synch.

Actually, taking the two steps should not be too serious a problem. Just take them one after the other.

Anyway, post to the PeopleSoft group. I'm sure you can get some more definitive answers to your question.
