Database Calculation (Please Help)

You might want to check 'Oracle Interactive Magazine' on the web (http://www.oramag.com/oracle/98-May/dba.html) for James Koopmann's article 'Cookbook for Sizing Objects' - I have not tried the recipe myself, but it looks promising!
